Arma2 mission night

Hi Guys,
A couple of us are planning on doing a hardcore Arma2 mission on Thursday night, we currently have a squad of 4, but would like to have more if possible (6 would be good, more the merrier). This will be a mission that will played in a close to real world behind the lines Special Forces style mission, with three targets. Their will be civilians that are on the side of the enemy and will call in the army if we are discovered, as well enemy foot and vehicle patrols that may come and search for us if we are detected in the vicinity.

We will be using the revive script so that means that if you go down and are slightly injured you can bandage yourself, and you can revive and bandage other players if they are unconscious. The medic revive and bandage up to 10 times and the standard soldier can revive twice. Each player has 5 lives and if all the squad is unconscious the mission has failed. There are also several respawn points so that if players go down and can not be revived in time, they can respawn near the one of the 3 targets or the drop zone.

The mission starts at a captured airbase where you can choose your weapons and kit for the mission, some explosives will be needed by one player and smoke is useful as well. We will then board chopper and be dropped of behind enemy lines to start our mission, target are marked on the map, and we will need to use proper orienteering skills to locate our target and avoid being detected.

If we are detected we will need to decide on the spot if we engage the enemy or try to escape, we need to consider ammo, but an emergency air drop can be called in if we can find a safe place to do it.

Target 1 is attack a defended enemy communication tower and destroy the generator to take out local communications, then locate a tank base and call in an arty to take out the tanks, then find and kill a local high ranking officer. All behind enemy lines with patrols etc that may try to find and kill us.

When complete we call in a helo to exfil back to base, mission complete when back at the base.

You will need to have one mod which is quick to install (if you have xfire or msn, I can help you get it installed within a few minutes before the mission starts) and make sure that you have arma2 launcher so that you can launch the mods. Other recommended mods are the night vision mod as the mission starts in the early morning when it is still dark.

I estimate the mission will take about 4 hours to complete, it will be tense and very realistic, with times of full battle and other times of stealth.

Hey M8,

Ill be there, and i think u can count on Mr 007 himself, Mr Messiirules.

Come on guys this is going to be like the real thing, our friend from China has put hours into making this Mission, we have both tried it the 1st version, was too easy, we both tried a harder version 2, with messii, a bit harder, but version 3 could be fantastic.

You guys who have Arm2 need to dnload the new patch version 1.07 to be able to play.

Please guys lets give Congo some support and play this one!

Thanks m8,

I and i think Congo_Jack & Cropper really started to enjoy this mission after all the little hic_cups getting started. I am looking forward to finishing the next 2 stages, as im sure the other 2 guys are.
